Les Fanfans Nursery is a trilingual nursery that offers its services in French, English and Arabic a unique scheme in Abu Dhabi. The nursery is dedicated to bringing play and education together in a perfect balance, encouraging all the staff to be rooted and true to the ideal of Education through play.

At Les Fanfans Nursery & Crèche, a warm and friendly environment encourages each child to succeed at their own pace. As an early education center, the nursery aims to provide all the tools and an environment that will give children the opportunity to develop and reach their greatest potential, believing that children deserve to receive all the support and respect it takes to establish a strong foundation for their future. All these are done in a safe and nurturing environment that is both fun and exciting for children.

Les Fanfans Nursery & Crèche curriculum is designed to provide an early education that will promote competency and successful mastery of early development tasks. The curriculum strives to assist and guide children through the most crucial stages of their early development. It is a whole learning experience in which children, parents, early development staff and the community are all involved. It was designed internally by the curriculum coordinator in collaboration with the educators at each level.

The curriculum’s aim is to broaden the repertoire of the child’s knowledge and skills and is based on 5 specified areas of learning presented through a certain number of activities coordinated by the educator. They are: language enrichment, imaginative and creative development, fine and gross motor skills development, discovering the world through math and science and sensory exploration. These areas of learning are all incorporated into the individual student worksheets from our activity modules as well as daily group activities. Each activity is designed to focus on one of the areas.

Les Fanfans understands that parents are leading busy lives yet we still want to maintain a relationship with them throughout the day, to assure them of their child’s wellbeing. For this purpose, the nursery have dedicated their time and resources to keeping Les Fanfans a tech savvy modern nursery and have created a smart phone application that helps the teachers communicate with parents in real time. Educators and assistants have tablets in each of the classrooms with which they can capture photographs of the children throughout the day, record milestone achieved and send daily agenda notifications. Pictures and info are pushed onto the nursery’s application for the parents to view immediately.
