Author. Children's picture book series: Chickens Don't Wear Tutus! Chickens Don't Ski! Chickens Don't Live in Tree Houses! Chickens Don't Swim! Theme: Lily, the main character, solves problems with her crafty creations. The series is available (US and UK) in hardback, eBook, and Audible ("tutu" story). Books can be ordered from major retailers such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, Walmart, and Target.
In this book series, I created the illustrations in a simplistic style with the intention for the illustrations to stand alone in telling the story. However, there is a text. The goal being to appeal to very young children, non-verbal children, and to be a fun/quick story for older children. These books are meant to be fun, innocent, and entertaining, not moral expounding.
