Disabled and plus-size blogger/activist based in DC. I have a way with words and a knack for telling even the most complicated of stories in a relatable way! I believe that fashion and beauty can be tools to change the world. My work and words have been featured in publications ranging from Buzzfeed and Bustle to the Wall Street Journal and the Washington Post.

I believe in the representation of diverse bodies and I share my style on Instagram to show that there's nothing bad about living in a body like mine. I like to work with brands that are committed to social justice and inclusivity. Whether on social media or through my blog, Claiming Crip, I am constantly changing others' perspectives and influencing how people understand the world around them.

I have been an invited guest to the White House for events on LGBTQ Pride, disability and fashion, disability culture, and women's rights. I am well known for using my voice to make a difference, and I am an up-and-coming mover and shaker in the DC activism and political scene.
