About

Kelly established her Fine Jewelry and Photo Dog Tag Collection in 1992. She was amongst the first of what was to be known as "private jewelers". It was shortly after the 9/11 terrorist attacks that she created her signature Sophie Rose Dog Tag Necklaces, named after her daughter Sophie. Dropping her daughter off at preschool everyday with security guards surrounding the school was incredibly stressful. Kelly wanted to keep her close to her heart after the devastating trauma and knew she could create something that no one else had been doing. Kelly's love of photography, aesthetics, fashion, style, & creativity all lead to Kelly Gerber Jewelry brand. Her pieces are a modern keepsake. "Lucky Charm Necklaces", as they are called by some of her clients who will not travel without wearing their charm necklaces with photos of their kids.

Having experience working with famous photographers, singers, models and actors on photoshoots Kelly discovered early on what it takes to create a styled look. Starting her early work career in fashion, followed by an opportunity in the new development boom in the Manhattan residential Real Estate market in the 80's- Kelly's path has always been done with creativity, in sales and in style. Her favorite role however has been Motherhood. She says on looking good, "It's a process and a practice, like yoga, somedays my balance is just better. Do what makes you feel good, I always feel better when I exercise, sleep more, & wear classic tailored clothing with a fashionable edge. I love wearing yellow gold and of course having my daughter close to my heart."

Kelly lives in NYC, currently an empty nester with the sweetest companion, her dog, a Havenese named Cookie Jar.
