Bio

Hi, my name is Katie! I am a mom of three and reside in Maryland. I own a small photography business, am a bubbly person, love animals, plants, throw pillows and being outside. I write a lifestyle column in my small town of Fallston, Maryland which is well received--unless people have been lying to me the past three years. Lol! I am into health and fitness, but still enjoy sweets and having a few drinks with my husband and/or my girlfriends. I love a good cup of coffee and have a taste for the finer things but love to get a good deal. My dad and husband are accountants. I think it's worn off on me. Lol! I am authentic and do not like to overdo filters and such unless it's clear it's a filter (ie something that looks like film). I think face-tune is a terrible app, not because it doesn't work, but because it's damaging to people, especially younger girls and refuse to use it. I also practice this with my own photography and have never liquefied anyone, swapped smiles, or anything else like that and will only do things like blemish blending, if someone has a scratch on their face, or something that is usually not there. I prefer to use light, angles, and my knowledge of photography to deliver REAL images whether they're shot with my Canon, or with my iPhone. I love to work with good, kind people, have a strong moral compass and wish to help make the world a better place today and for future generations!
