Joey Capitano is an Italian-American born singer and record producer who was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. At the tender age of 10 he began playing guitar and singing lead in bands. Though success was promised in the bands he lead, he eventually shifted his momentum towards his solo career and began producing and rapping in 2008. He also sparked an extremely successful DJ’ing career under the name DIRTY BA$$.

The driving force behind his craft is birthed out of his personal experiences and emotion.His producing skill is also birthed out of raw emotion, he is what we would like to call a “flow as you go” artist, whatever he is feeling in the moment is what’s going to be given.

Capitano’s plans for the future are simple, he feels part of his purpose is to be a leader and teacher to newer upcoming talents. Music is more than a hobby, it is his lifestyle and serves as a therapeutic tool in his life. Joey hopes to inspire the next generation of artist and share his story through his music. He and Asyere are currently working on a couple joint projects that are scheduled to release sometime late 2017 but until then, check out his latest project THE DEEP END.
