Bio

Growing up around a salon-owner grandmother and a mother who loves all things self-care, my interest in beauty was peaked at a very early age, creating spa masks with mom in the kitchen, and soaking up beauty centered conversations around my grandmother’s salon floor. That love of beauty prompted me to start Orange Green and Natural, a Facebook community, dedicated to helping her college peers (and ultimately myself) with natural hair, or transitioning back to it, feel informed, supported, and celebrated.

This community has since transformed into a more visually compelling story board on Instagram that strongly emphasizes my encouragement of self-care in all forms, love of beauty, product reviews and demonstrations, personal expressions of style and glimpses into my lifestyle.

In my professional life, I'm an IT Business Analyst based in Dallas, TX with a BS in Biology from Florida A&M University and a MBA in Business Management from Pepperdine University with a Marketing concentration.
