Bio

Jennifer is currently the Digital Content Strategy Manager for Serendipity Media, LLC in Grand Rapids MI.

After 25 years in the broadcast news industry, she recently retired in December 2018. She worked both in radio and television in various markets in Illinois, Iowa and Michigan. She was an anchor/reporter for WZZM, the ABC affiliate in Grand Rapids, MI. She recently graduated with a Masters Degree in Communication from Grand Valley State University and received her B.A. degree from Northern Illinois University. She is a committee and board member for the Grand Rapids Community Foundation Advisory Council and Ronald McDonald House of Western Michigan, YWCA of Grand Rapids. Jennifer is also a community advocate and volunteer for Gilda’s Club, Kids Food Basket, and many Asian-American & cultural diverse organizations. She is best known in West Michigan for her lifestyle features involving the restaurant scene and for an impromptu interview with then-President-Elect Donald Trump at ArtPrize 2016 that went viral after the moment was featured on MSNBC’s The Rachel Maddow Show.

She is the mother of three young men and enjoys traveling around the world with her boyfriend.
