Bio

Jennifer is a Phoenix native, mother to two wild childs and married to her high school sweetheart. She graduated from The University of Arizona with a B.F.A. in Art education with an emphasis in painting in 2008. She is an Independent Artist + Photographer and Art Teacher. She loves to talk about all things natural, and is always planning her next family adventure. She started the blog hawks and honey to share about everyday life including her local food club project. H&H blossomed into not only a blog but added apparel line and wellness coaching.

As an Art Educator she has always been creating, She started perusing photography more consistently in the past 2-3 years, second shooting weddings, lots of family and portrait sessions and mini sessions. She is also a Henna body artist, so her business is diverse. She manages a few projects turned businesses.

The unique thing about Jennifer is her business diversity, She loves photography and art so she's able to dabble in lots of aspects of those creative processes, which also allows for the times when photography is slow (hello Arizona summer) to focus on art and Henna. The variety of her businesses is key!

She enjoys sharing her tips and tricks for managing income from multiple sources - especially important for those who are starting in photography but still working a day job. She wants to share about teamwork and how between her Husband and her they've found a a balance for managing childcare. She wants to help other mamas who feel like they have too much going on figure out where to focus, and she would like to inspire others to follow their creative interests and recognize how important it is to contribute to our communities.
