Bio

My name is Moriah Nixon and I am an education consultant and advocate. I am a licensed teacher with a Masters in Special Education. I have been working in the field of education for 13 years with the majority of that time as a Special Education teacher. I have worked with students ages 5 years old to 21 years old and have worked in a variety of educational environments, to include residential treatment facilities, public schools, transition programs, and am now a homeschool teacher.

I have worked with many families over the years to find the best fit for their child’s academic success. ​I know that the education system can be a challenge to navigate and that finding resources that work for you and your child can be incredibly difficult.

I want to share my knowledge and help families find tools for a successful journey through schools for both parents and child. I am here to guide them, inform them, and give them tools to help get their children to be as successful as they can be.
