Doner panini - £4

Now, I've always loved German doner kebab! I always order the same thing, the 'Original German doner kebab’
It's impossible to go wrong with it! But when @germandonerkebabuk invited us down to try their new Berlin Strasse & Doner panini, I was delighted!

Our thoughts:
The Berlin Strasse was fantastic! I would definitely buy this again; it was filling, similar to a burrito. I could have it with just a drink on the side, the perfect wrap size and amount. The Berlin Strasse is served with a choice of doner meat, onions, tomatoes, and french fries wrapped in a toasted lahmacun (turkish flatbread topped with minced beef, spices, lemon juice, and parsley). Sounds like a lot😍 But I’m not complaining about that at all😅

The Doner panini is made with sourdough panini bread, garlic and yoghurt sauces, onion and tomato slices, cheddar cheese, and your choice of Doner meat (chicken, beef or mixed). This is a lighter option; I'd order it as a meal (a side and a drink), a lighter meal is not bad it all depends on the mood you’re in right?
The Doner panini unfortunately I didn't get any onions or a flavour of cheese in mine; all I got was the doner and the yoghurt sauce a 1 or 2 tomato slices, which was OK for us but didn't stick out as the Berlin strasse did:/ But after seeing other foodies' reviews and pictures, their panini looked well toasted and had more filling and was cheesy, so I think that this may just be the Luton branch.

Overall I would definitely get the Berlin strasse again!! The panini I would give it a go but at another branch seeing as other foodies panini just looked perfect! I think the Luton branch may need to work on that🤍 Other than that the staffs were very lovely and helpful💜
