Bio

I’m a San Diego native living in Eastern San Diego County. I have a background in the visual arts, having designed and created costumes for 20+ years. I have taught sewing and other visual and practical arts. Additionally, I have taught frugal living classes for 10 years all over San Diego County.

I love sharing new products and services that are relevant to the needs of my family and the needs of my readers. As the mother of special needs child, I also write about our struggles, successes, and things that we have found that help our family.
My blog writing style is conversational, as if you were going to your frugal friend for advice on where to pick up a great deal, how to cook frugally, get green, or even have a crafty afternoon with your kids without breaking the bank.

I’m active in social media outlets daily, as well as face-to-face networking on a weekly basis with my mom’s group with over 8,000 members in the San Diego County area and beyond.
