Landscape, Adventure & Travel Photographer. Ultra Runner & Co-Founder of www.trailandkale.com.

Alastair loves to run challenging mountain races around the world, and capture beautiful photography of the adventures and landscapes that come with them. During the week he works as a Visual Effects lighting supervisor in the film and advertising industries. Outside of work hours, you can find him running up local hills, training for future races that contain lots of vertical ascent.

In his younger years he spent most weekends travelling up and down the UK, representing his college and England in the British Ski Slalom Championships. This is really what shaped his love for downhill speed in the mountains. It's only in the last 3 years that he took up trail running passionately enough to travel the world seeking beautiful and challenging races.

Alastair, recently co-founded http://www.trailandkale.com (a trail running blog & community) which aims to inspire more people to explore and enjoy trail running around the world. He is also particularly proud of the trail-running-focused Instagram community, sharing his own beautiful photography as well as showcasing the best images from fellow mountain-lovers around the world.
