Green Generation is an Irish owned company that implement the Circular Economy in multiple ways. We use Anaerobic Digestion(AD) to convert food and agricultural waste into renewable energy (Biomethane) which is injected into the National Grid.
Digestate which is a by-product from the AD process is used the used as an Organic Fertiliser/Soil Improver (OFSI). This nutrient rich, chemical free fertiliser is spread back on the land helping crops to grow, replacing our reliance on fossil-based chemical fertilisers.
We also use a patented technology to covert plastic food waste packaging into fully recycled high value plastic products such as, Flowerpots, Railway Sleepers, Road Barriers and Water Troughs to name just a few.
