About

I am a wife, mother of six, and grandmother of two very bubbly granddaughters. I have a heart for God, I’m deeply passionate about family, and live by the mantra, "My response is my responsibility." I believe in and trust the word of God and am so thankful to God for His mercy and grace. I have been healed by God on multiple occasions and have seen the power of God work on behalf of those I love and care for. Even after losing my daughter, my firstborn, I still trust God. The journey has not been easy, but I continue to believe. I continue to give thanks for the children I still have to love and be loved by. I continue to be grateful for my entire family. Because of my experiences, I understand the power of prayer and how prayer truly can change situations and circumstances.

I am also deeply passionate about marriage. I and my husband David were the leaders of our church's marriage ministry for several years before passing the torch to another very loving couple who will take the ministry to the next level.

David and I love to travel – especially with family. Our favorite destinations include Puerto Rico, Belize, and the Dominican Republic. Basically anywhere you find beautiful blue water. We pray for a long, happy, and healthy life together so we can continue to build on our friendship and marriage and continue to watch our family grow.

I hold a bachelor's degree in business and information technology and I’m a self-taught cake artist. Although my cake shop, Sweet Tooth Creations, is no longer open I still love to bake for the family on special occasions.
