Bio

In January of 2019, I had an idea. A month before, class had been cancelled because a young woman committed suicide on campus. I had just gotten back from a humanitarian trip to Mexico. I was starting to notice the signs of seasonal depression too. A lot was going on.
One day, I kinda realized that I wasn't the only one out there who felt alone or who was in pain. Thinking about the girl who took her life, I wondered if she wouldn't have jumped if someone would've just taken the time to listen to whatever she had to say.
I want to spread hope. Hope can come in many ways, but for me, it's just that peaceful thought that says "Yeah, today sucks, but tomorrow will be better. And if tomorrow sucks, that's okay. We'll make it through."
The goal is Giving HOPE a Voice is to share hope online through inspirational videos where people share their personal experiences with mental health and how they have found hope.
