Bio

I’m a Cuban born entrepreneur of 16 years with my first business, a dance studio called GiGi’s Academy, which I opened the same year I graduated high school. It’s still open today and was recently ranked Top 3 Dance Studios in our city. (Pause for happy dance)

In addition to my business I have pursued a career in broadcast journalism on radio and television, currently working as an on air personality for iHeartRadio in multiple markets in Spanish and English. I also host the podcast Chats with GiGi featuring guests such as Chrissy Metz, Jay Leno, Dan Harris and many others.

I acquired my Bachelors in Sociology and Anthropology and my Masters degree in Global Strategic Communications both from Florida International University. I recently returned to school to receive training as a Life Coach from the University of Miami which has led me to launch my second business, Seizing Happy. It's a life coaching program dedicated to helping women tap into their inner happiness source to lead more empowered and purposeful lives.
