About
Our company was founded because of my great appreciation for running which started in June 2005 when a close friend was running the Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run. His dedication and comitment compelled me to run my first 5k one week after he expressed to me that I could pace him next year for the last 20 miles of the race but that I'd have to start training now! After successfully completing several marathons accross the Western US while fundraising with Team In Training to help fight Leukemia (my father lost his life to Cancer at 31) I turned my direction to longer distances. I have completed several 50k's (32 miles) a 50 miler as well as half Ironman distance triathlons.
It was this passion that inspired me to start Extreme Gear. After 16 years of owning a successful floor covering company, I am excited to start this new journey bring quality running products to the market place.
