About
A creative designer by day and a crafter by night (and any free time in between).
I’ve always loved crafting, and my love for macrame started off right after graduating as a Graphic Designer from Shillington college. Whilst transitioning from a hectic corporate career in hospitality, crafting helped me wind down and reset for my new creative career path. I spent most of my free time designing and creating bohemian and contemporary wall hangings mainly using cotton fibres, natural materials and metals, mostly locally sourced from ethically responsible small businesses. Fluffy Peaks was born in West London mostly out of my living room and bedroom about 4 years ago.
For me these wall hangings are therapeutic, especially combing the cotton which requires a lot of patience. I find it helps me switch off, stops my mind from wandering and helps me be more present.
You may ask where I get my inspiration from? I find inspiration from nothing and everything! From nature, trends, people I cross paths with, adventurous weekends away, days spend by the seaside etc.
