The Floatation Wellness Centre is a state of the art facility, using the market leading I-SOPOD for floatation therapy. Our treatment times are from a minimum of 1 hour spent in the float pod costing £30 per hour. Sports professionals, and corporate directors and other top business people use it for advanced visualisation techniques, university students use it as it creates a fantastic learning experience for the brain as it's shown to "wipe clean" the brain and allow for more information to be taken on and retained at a faster rate, army special forces use these pods to learn complex languages in under 6 weeks while going behind enemy lines. The process when you come in the centre is as follows, you book your slot turn up and are asked to sign a form then asked if you have any questions , then shown round and talked through the process. You pop your earplugs in have a shower and get ready for a an unforgettable experience in the I-SOPOD, the pod is heated to skin temperature, which is called skin receptor neutral, your body does not know where the water starts and your skin ends your brain is tricked into thinking you are floating in warm air. You are able to have the lights on or off during your floatation experience and the music on or off you are in complete control, you are not locked in the door opens very easy on pneumatic pistons then 5 mins from the end the music comes on and you shower off and enjoy your post float glow with serotonin, dopamine and other pleasure giving endorphins flooding your body.
