Raised on country and bluegrass music in rural Indiana is not too hard to fathom, but the sideways path through hard rock and heavy metal makes for an interesting journey. Fletcher Moudy toured the U.S. with SLUR for 4 years and found some success with "Who I Am". The single put these indie rockers on the map and in the top 40 of the Radio and Records Chart in 2002. The music was hard-driving and the lyrics riddled with angst and pain. Some grueling times found their way into the songs of the band, and it resonated with fans of hard rock. The group shared stages with artist's like Stone Sour, Powerman5000 and Sevendust. The group disbanded in 2004. Fletcher picked up the pieces and pushed forward with the catalog of songs to find synch opportunities with TLC and a few independent films. Artist's like Zac Brown and Jason Aldean caught his attention through Sirius XM's "The Highway" channel. Fletcher then found himself studying the work of multiple country artists and writing more songs. During the COVID 19 pandemic, Fletcher worked in one room studio to record and produce his country debut album "Lost Where You Are." Fletcher also produces for other songwriters and pitches songs to Nashville both indie and national artists.
