As a professional violinist, I've always cared about isolating muscles to perform at your best and to be ergonomically healthy. When typing on a laptop, I typed faster than on a desktop keyboard, but the surface was hard on my wrist and lower arm. I invented FLATOP to emulate the laptop typing experience on a desktop computer. FLATOP raises your keyboard to be level with your wrist and lower arm so that your fingers are left alone to type while your wrist, lower arm and shoulders are relaxed. The surface of FLATOP is cloth, just like a mouse pad, with 17" x 7" of polyurethane rubber and a gripping shelf to raise your keyboard. Amazon has named it "AMAZON CHOICE" for quite a while.
