Bio

Filipa Jackson was born in Leeds, England in 1989. She moved to Toronto, Canada in 2004 as an aspiring model and actress. When on set, she always found herself lost in the wonders of the wardrobe department. Filipa took this as a calling and redirected her path by becoming a wardrobe stylist. Working on numerous published editorials, she has had the pleasure of connecting with some of the most influential members of Toronto’s fashion industry. Filipa has had the privilege of styling various clients for prestigious events such as Cannes Film Festival, Emmy’s, and TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival).

With her love of fashion Filipa created her blog, ‘Playing With Apparel’ as an outlet to express her thoughts and ideas. She continues to write articles on various fashion/beauty products and trends, while managing to feature her sometimes-quirky and forever-changing personal style.
