Bio

I'm 26 and moved to Salzburg right next to the Austrian Alps last year for my Job at Red Bull where I work in Controllong. All of my life, sports have played a fundamental part to balance out the studying first in school, then in University and now to counter sitting in the office most of the day. I tried many different sports and often found joy doing them but Triathlon is especially interesting to me due to the variability in training and being outdoors so much of it.
Most of my competitive career I was focusing on running middle and long distance on the track, road and cross country. I managed to get German Champion with two others of my club once and added a few podium places at German Championships before I scored an athletic scholarship to continue my education and sports career in the USA. I had a wonderful time there before returning back to Germany for my masters degree which I finished in 2022.
Before starting to work and having less time available for workouts, I decided to do my first Ironman and qualified for Hawaii right away which was the biggest highlight of my career so far, even though both Ironman didn't go as planned.
Now I'm working full-time while still following my passion of triathlon in the wonderful surrounding of Salzburg. My next bigger goal is to qualify for the Ironman 70.3 world championship of 2024 and to run a marathon under 2:30h.
