Eleven years prior to the founding of Explore Until You Die, my aunt was given a life altering diagnosis of Lou Gehrig’s Disease. When she was given only one year to live, my uncle’s world was turned upside down. I was young when she was diagnosed but I recall thinking how quickly life could change in the blink of an eye. My uncle gave up his job in New York to take care of her. She lived 10 additional years because of her determination, his care and this beautiful world.

Their experience and my uncles determination was my inspiration to inspire. Realizing that life is short gives me the courage to follow my dreams and give others a reason to start following their passions.
