Bio

My passion for design began early in life. Some of my favorite childhood memories are of my bedroom makeovers in which I would enlist the help of my grandfather to bring me to a series of stores in order to gather my supplies: a new color of paint, new bedding, fresh accessories. I would lock myself in my bedroom not allowing any visitors until the transformation was complete. Although I’m sure my parents recognized the missing items throughout the house, they always acted surprised and pleased when, on Sunday evening, I would invite my family into my room for the unveiling. I would set the lighting just right, put music on my boombox (yes, you read that correctly… boombox!) and create an experience. I absolutely loved it.

I am now beyond grateful to have a career in which I create these experiences for others. Design can be challenging and daunting to some and my goal is to inspire others with useful ideas for everyone to utilize at their own home in an effort to creating a beautiful space they love.
