Bio

Hello! My name is Raymond. I am an outdoor adventure & lifestyle photographer. When I started traveling in 2015, I fell in love with photography and became obsessed with photographing all the beautiful sights the world has to offer.

My favorite activities involve snow sports and backpacking. I feel most at peace when I hike all day to camp out in the middle of nowhere. I started snowboarding in 2007, and I do as much as I can every winter. Whenever I can, I combine the two together.

One of my favorite types of photography is long exposure, especially astrophotography during the summer when the Milky Way is visible every night. I have been shortlisted in the Insight Astronomy Photographer of the Year worldwide competition, hosted by the Royal Observatory Greenwich, two years in a row.

I also recently got into film photography, focusing more on capturing moments & memories rather than just "pretty" pictures. I love the mystery of not knowing if I've taken a successful photo or not, and I enjoy the process of getting the film developed and scanning it to see if my work has paid off or not.
