Hi, I'm Dr. Sherry.

Single mom of 4, fashionista, and soulful philanthropist providing doctor-grade wisdom with a splash of mom blogger warmth. I created this blog as a way to connect with and empower women around the world. Based out of the suburbs of Chicago, I want to help women create a life that ensures they’ll have a choice no matter what situation they encounter.

A few years back, we bought a one-way ticket to our new life and left everything we knew and loved behind. Like most things, life always has a funny way of working things out for the better and now, my kids and I, are living our happily ever after.

Inspired by my past experiences, I've cultivated a community where we can share stories, laugh about our past, and enjoy the beautiful moments of life along the way.

My mission is to help women know their worth and motivate them to be independent, healthy, and confident. In a world where there is no guarantee I want to encourage women to have a backup plan. If and when the time comes, they can take charge of their finances and never have to rely on another person or worry about sacrificing their happiness in place of their financial security.
