About
My name is David and I am an author, freelance editor, and English teacher living in the San Francisco Bay area. I earned my BA in English with a minor in creative writing from California State University East Bay in 2012. After taking some time off to write and pursue other career paths, I returned to school to become an English teacher and earned my credential in 2015. I have been teaching and tutoring English to teens and adults ever since. In addition to my previous experiences, I am an active member of the Editorial Freelancers Association (EFA) and continuing to learn and grow as a professional writer and editor. My favorite genres are fantasy, science fiction, and horror. Some of my favorite authors include Ray Bradbury, Stephen King, and Neil Gaiman.
