Bio

My name is Christel and I have had type 1 diabetes since I was 19 years old. I have always been very determined not to let my diabetes affect my quality of life and my motto is “There is nothing you can’t do with diabetes”.

My husband Tobias and I started Diabetes Strong in 2015 because we wanted to create a website where people can find useful and easily accessible information about how to exercise safely and effectively with diabetes.

We mostly post diabetes articles, workout tips, and healthy recipes, and we love to help people with diabetes find their positive motivation, and take their health and diabetes management to the next level.
