Bio

Cortney Herron is a freelance creative based in Los Angeles, California — primarily specializing in art. She studied art throughout high school and received her B.A. from UC Davis in Visual Communication Design. Inspired by color, people, music, and fashion, she enjoys weaving traditional painting styles and graphic illustrations into her artwork. There are days where she might spend 10 hours on an abstract painting and other days editing illustrations on the computer. She feels that the foundation for creativity is imagination which can lead to infinite possibilities in artistic expression.

Today, Cortney works as a content manager for various online retailers and personalities, and has collaborated with brands like, Refinery29, The Riveter, and more. She is also the co-founder of Brandvibe, an LA-based creative consulting / social media agency. In the time she's not helping to develop other brands, Cortney is taking her own brand beyond the paint brush, offering an online collection of products like totes, home decor, stationary, and wall art.

Whether it's painting with bright colors, Instagram-ing a fun new pair of shoes, or sharing skincare tips, Cortney aspires to keep pushing the creative envelope, as art is her greatest form of expression.
