Our story stretches back over 300 years to the fishing village of Claddagh just outside the city walls of Galway, Ireland.

It is here, on the shores of Galway Bay, that the first Claddagh ring was made by an escaped salve who return home to Ireland and made a special ring design for his wife, and legend began. The distinctive and iconic design is made up of three visual elements:

- The Heart representing 'Love',
- The Crown representing 'Loyalty',
- And the Hands representing 'Friendship'.

Since then, the custom of using this symbolic piece of jewelry as a traditional Irish wedding ring has been passed down through generations of Irish families.

Today, it is famous throughout the world as the symbol of Love, Loyalty and Friendship, represented by the iconic heart, hands and crown in this unique symbol.
