Bio

Nice to meet you! I’m Lauren.

I recently graduated from Ohio University in May 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Food & Nutrition and currently hold a job in IT. Such is the way of life.

I’m a lead integration project manager with a federal network security consulting company outside of Ashburn, Virginia. I’ve been doing remote contract work for two years and have a view of evergreens and Mt. Hood on the outskirts of Portland, Oregon.

As I interact often with my laptop in my current line of work, I saw no reason not to bring my love of writing online with my very own website and blog. After working with many colleagues and clients to design their dream company sites and content copy, it made sense. Beyond that, I've been writing my whole life, and my blog brings me full circle with my passions.

I travel the world, enjoy working with startup companies, and am a major advocate for mental health. I’m currently working on building a community of accountable and inspired entrepreneurs and creators.
