We created skin guru to be the best reusable makeup removers available. We heard our family complaining that they hated using disposable makeup removers as they were bad for the environment, so we started looking for alternatives. Bamboo cotton is a very sustainable material and can be used to make washable makeup remover pads. So we designed our own makeup remover pads, made of 3 layers to make them super thick and absorbent, with silky smooth Bamboo Velour on one side and absorbent Bamboo Terry on the other. We then worked with our supplier to create ethical packaging with no plastic, which is 100% recycled and recyclable.
Our mission was to create sustainable products that are kind to the planet, without compromise on performance and care for your skin.
Initially, we will sell direct via Amazon, before later looking for retailers that fit with our brand.
We are a young company, trying to do things differently and looking for opportunities to bring our sustainable ethos to new categories.
