I'm Libby and the proud owner/baker of Butter Me Sweet, a home bakery in Fredericksburg, Tx. Butter Me Sweet started out as a hobby and transformed into a home bakery in the Heart of the Texas Hill Country. The home bakery is located on my family's 168 year old German farm right on the edge of town. I've been obsessed with making and eating desserts most of my life. At an early age my Oma taught me to bake. Each morning she got up and made a homemade loaf of bread in the same kitchen I operate out of today.

I love baking for other people. It’s an ultimate joy and form of happiness for both parties. I mean, who doesn’t love a homemade cake waiting for them after a hard day of work? I know my friends love it when I bring over dessert. It’s the smiles on their faces that gets me every time.
