Bio

When purchasing a house with our young family fell through, we asked ourselves what we really wanted in life and 180’d into buying a truck, travel trailer and jumped into life as a full time travel family.

We’re Briggs (they/them) and Rhylissa Doxzen (she/ her) with our 3 year-old daughter, Wesley and 1 year-old son, Robin. In a little over a year we’ve welcomed our second into the world, traversed over 28,000 miles, stayed in 12 states, explored 2 national parks and changed way too many diapers with no signs of stopping.

“Breathe In, Venture Out” has become a family motto. When there are a million and one reasons to stay home, we’re making the conscious decision to take a deep breath and journey far beyond our front door to learn about the world and ourselves.

As we’ve documented our travels primarily for us, family and friends we’ve unexpectedly found a follower base of travelers, outdoor enthusiasts, parents and LGBTQ folks who’ve found something in our unfolding story.
