Bio

Hi I am Ruthie, a wedding consultant and blogger based in Puerto Rico. I was born in New York, raised in Puerto Rico, attended college in Chicago and made my way back to the big city we all know as New York City. After 9 years there my latin roots were calling me and I came back to PR last year! To sum that up, I have the personality of a Latin lady, the home roots of a Midwestern and the style and motivation of a New Yorker.

I have vast experience in fashion, public relations and entertainment. I have worked with some of the who’s who in the entertainment industry including Desiree Gruber, CEO and Founder of Full Picture and Sarah Ferguson, The Duchess of York. I have also worked with some top magazines including: Cosmo Girl, Elle Accessories and People StyleWatch along with key events like: The Victoria Secret Annual Fashion Show, Heidi Klum’s Annual Halloween Party and Project Runway Fashion Shows.

After years of experience in the industry I decided to parlay all of this into weddings and created my blog Bodas del Encanto. A luxury wedding and lifestyle blog based in Puerto Rico. We feature the best weddings on the island as well as the latest trends in fashion, beauty and travel for brides!
