Bio

Hi! I'm Ben, a Melbourne based Landscape, Event and Product photographer who loves getting out and shooting frames in any weather and generally between the hours of Sunset to Sunrise (Yes, I'm one of those crazy astrophotographers) but I do do the 9-5 game.

Photography for me isn't just about the personal satisfaction I get from shooting frames, I love when a group of creatives get together and share their passions to build something. Sharing skills and knowledge to benefit the wider community -
for me that is being part of Melbourne's Instagram community.

I manage @Igersmelbourne, Melbourne's Instagram community, where I along with three others organise monthly Instameet meet-ups around Melbourne and outer Melbourne areas. We get between 60-110 people attend our meet ups each month and its only getting bigger.

I don't believe that photography is just about having digital files sitting on a computer, I believe in printing. I am a believer that to succeed you must invest. Last year I set aside an amount of money to start printing up my photography to sell. I know have my photography in a few places around Melbourne and peoples homes and businesses. Sales of my images is ever growing.

I have three current Limited Edition releases "Wet Night Flinders Street Station" Colour & Black & White Editions and "Nylex" Melbourne. I have another 8 images printed and hanging for sale.
Dreaming doesn't equal reality, get out there and do it!
