Bio

Hi! We are the Baker family. We moved to Orlando, FL from Ohio to enrich our lives with more year round activity. We live on 3 acres near the city. We work from home so we decided to turn this dream house into a modern homestead. We home school our youngest son and our oldest son is pursing a college degree in the medical field. We have 17 chickens, 3 dogs, 1 cat, 1 hamster and a hedgehog. We are first time gardeners. Our homestead is lined by a sandy bottom clear creek that provides endless entertainment, irrigation and the occasional alligator. We also are renovating our 30 year old home to make it our dream home! Follow along with our adventures.
