A 2019 graduate of the Vermont College of Fine Arts with an MFA in Creative Writing for Children and Young Adults. A graduate of the University of Richmond with a Bachelor of Arts in English and creative writing. Currently living in Richmond, Virginia. Experienced in the craft of writing and published in Forum Magazine, the online literary journal After the Pause, and other publications. A teacher and tutor, with experience teaching elementary school through the college level, specializing in creative writing, composition, and literature. An outdoor enthusiast, with experience in rock climbing, kayaking, hiking, backpacking, and more. Certified in CPR and first aid. A rock climber with ten years of experience in the sport and industry. Completed studying two outdoor education courses from the University of Otago during her semester abroad in Dunedin, New Zealand.
