Bio

I grew up with a darkroom in my home, and a camera in my hand. When I was in high school I borrowed my dad's 35mm camera, a Canon AE-1, to study photography. I learned the principles of photography, all about operating SLRs (single lens reflex), processing & developing methods, and printing. There began my passion for photography which has continued to grow in ways which make each photo different and unique based on my individual perspective. I started out shooting very traditional style images and over the years have also incorporated my own hands off documentation style, giving me the ability to direct the must have portraits in addition to capturing all those special little moments throughout a wedding day. In addition to people, I also have a passion for architecture and real estate photography.

My camera (now digital!) has become an extension of me. I use my camera to capture your special smiles and all the little details. I am interested in low light, detail, textures and architecture. I also have a not so secret love for tattoos, motorcycles and cute animals.
