The story of Aenea began in Cyprus with my two identical twin aunties who were born with the same DNA and looked the same but aged in very opposite ways.
One lived in Nicosia (the capital of Cyprus), worked in a fairly polluted part of the island, worked in a stressful high powered job and had a lifestyle which consisted of the wrong diet.
The other Auntie lived in Sia, near Troodos mountains, mountaneous air, free of pollution, was a farmer, with chickens, eggs and livestock, was very active and very healthy.
Whilst they both shared the same DNA, they aged in opposite ways due to their surrounding environments.
Stress, pollution and negative lifstyle choices can have a serious impact on our skin.
The study of heritable changes in the DNA sequence is called Epigenetics, the effects of environmental aggressors namely pollution, stress and negative lifestyle choices all play part on the ageing process.
By understanding how external aggressors can affect our genes and cause us to age, we at Aenea Cosmetics have now managed to create a range of epigenetic products with a unique set of ingredients that can truely reverse the effects.
We’re stocked in the iconic department stores Bergdorf Goodman in New York on 5th Avenue and Harrods in London.
We’re about to launch globally and across Middle East and Asia Pacific.
We’re looking for Influencers to spread our story and reach a mainstream audience.
Our range is also totally natural and free of synthetic colours and fragrances and harmful sulphates, detergents and petro chemicals.
