Bio

My name is Schaumin Chanel Alexander, and I am an independent Fashion Illustrator and Designer, and author of the book: The Fashion Designer's Ultimate Quick-Step Guide to Photoshop and Digital Painting. With an unrelenting passion for both fashion and fine arts, I went on to pursue a degree in Fashion Design and Marketing. In doing so, I was introduced to world world of digital design, and has been hooked ever since.

Makeup has similarly been a growing interest for me. I loved the boundless artistic expression that came along with makeup artistry. Besides desiging apparel for clients and teaching design, I also work for Estee Lauder as a counter Manager. Working with clients has inspired me to share more of my wealth of knowledge on both Fashion and beauty which has prompted me to create my beauty blog: " The Jamerican Beauty and upcoming community-based blog "The Beauty Brew".
