WHO IS COOKING? (WARNING: LONG POST)
I am Thea mother of 2 , wife, nurse, childcare/immigrant women/International Nurses advocate.

Our family just moved to Prince George from the Lower mainland 2 months fresh. I LOVE COOKING! My forte is savory dishes, and big hearty meals. I am a complete-ingredients-or-do-not-cook kindda girl. I came from 3 generations of cooks, chefs, restauranteurs, and business minded people in the food industry. I love planning, preparing, and executing or hosting small parties/banquets for my family, friends, and colleagues. I see food as a means to nurture, to offer or share, a part of good conversations and a remembrance of that good times. The main idea of @galunggonglegacy is for me to offer dinners (most of the time) in sets. Big meals that can serve the family or a few of your friends so that you need not to plan, shop and cook. You will see dishes here that I have been cooking through the years, recipes that have been used by my family and foods that influenced me living in Dubai (ultimate culture melting pot) for a decade, or foods that just interests me and I personally love.

Galunggong is a Filipino fish. Humble, yummy, and versatile. My father loved both. Cooking and Fish. He would always tell us how unhappy he was leaving without a “Legacy” Little did he know that he has given us that and so much more. My mama, she is the face of a hard-working mom! She is the Boss! I have never known anyone so hardworking as she. Through her I have learned to value professionalism, hard work, leadership, and love may it be to your family, to your craft or to your business wholeheartedly. I offer this page to them.

I am a mom of 2, wife, nurse, self taught cook, and a foodie. My family and I just moved here in Prince George BC and we want to explore and discover while I develop being an entrepreneur as in home cooked meals as a beginning to this venture. With this I would also want to explore what foods PG has to offer as a new influencer.
I want to present you foods that I prepare for my family and my friends. Foods that are meant to share and meant to enjoy. Preparations that will make a good impression.
