AIM OF THE CAMPAIGN:
Wahl Grooming is looking for confident and personable guys to film a how-to video of them cutting their own hair on camera. We are looking for men to create a how-to video for one of the below styles:
The Fade Cut
The Easy Cut
The Textured Cut
The Business Cut
The Brush Cut
The Tousled Cut
The Side Part
The High & Tight
The Buzz Cut
The Peaked Cut
The Close Cut
The Undercut
Or respond to this brief with your own style in mind. Influencer must be comfortable cutting their own hair with a clipper while walking through the steps. Influencer must utilize a cameraperson to help film the video.

WHAT TYPE OF INFLUENCER ARE YOU LOOKING FOR? (Lifestyle, Beauty, Health etc)
Open to all “types”, but Influencer must be confident and comfortable cutting his own hair on camera.
WHAT EXACTLY IS THE INFLUENCER REQUIRED TO DO?
Influencer is required to film himself creating a how-to video for a specific haircut style. Influencer must use Wahl clipper to cut his own hair. Influencer will start video by introducing himself, explaining the cut he will be doing, the tools he will be using and then discuss and show the steps to obtain that cut during the process.
Influencer will work with the Wahl team to determine type of cut as well as the exact steps to show and discuss on camera.
Influencer will provide all raw-footage/assets to agency. Agency to handle all post-production editing, graphics and music.
Influencer is required to take a still photo before and after the haircut. Before and after images should be focused on hairstyle and should be taken chest-up.
Photos should be high-resolution and can be taken using video camera or through a separate device.
Influencer will post final how-to video to social channels and tag @wahlgrooming.
Final video will be provided by agency once post-production edits, graphics and music are added.
Influencer will provide universal rights to all content.
WHAT LOOK/FEEL/STYLE OF ASSET ARE YOU WANTING?
Video should be informative but conversational. Video style and quality will be similar to below videos:

Influencer is not required to talk while cutting his hair. Talking should be done at beginning when influencer introduces themselves, as they set up each step in the process and to conclude the haircut. Influencer will ensure that audio quality is good and influencer can be heard and understood.
Influencer should avoid wearing or showing any items with brand logos and trademarks.
Filming location should be clean, quiet and void of echo and reverberation. Natural sunlight preferred, but secondary light sources are fine for best quality.
VIDEOGRAPHY SPECIFICS
Try to maintain 3 different camera lengths at different stages of the video (ex. 3 ft., 2 ft. 1 ft.). No zooming required.
Examples:
3 ft length -- Introduction
2 ft length – Talking through the next step in the haircut and cutting hair during each step
1 ft length – Close up video of clipper cutting at a certain point within each step
*Cameraperson should be cognizant of mirror reflection, lighting stands and additional cameras when shooting so as not to capture those pieces of equipment in video.
WHAT ASSETS ARE REQUIRED?
Raw video footage from how-to video.
Still shot(s) of influencer before, during and after haircut.
Include shots of influencer holding up clipper
In-feed posts of final, edited video.
Influencer will provide universal rights to all content.
