Bio

My academic background is in art and design. I started early by graduating from a media arts program in high school. I went on to get a BFA from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in Art and Design, with a concentration in graphic design. Since then I've focused on fine art photography. I have used this skill as the foundation to grow my Instagram following to over 6000. My photographs have been in group and solo shows in LA and NY.

My professional background is in branding and marketing. For two years, I worked in a tech startup that partnered with national brands. By the end of my time there I had moved up from a junior designer to being the director of branding. In addition, I help businesses optimize their websites and social media for capturing email and generating conversions. Now that I've spent so much time advising others on how to create an effective online presence, and have grown my own following, I write about photography and Instagram growth for artists on medium (@hannahsuzanna).

On top of this, I do hospice volunteer work and write about death for thebcd.co (which I founded and am an editor of).
