Bio

My name is Derek Liang. I’m a 26 year old content creator based in Southern California. I was born and raised in San Francisco Bay Area before I moved down to Orange County to attend university. After graduating, I stayed around pursuing a career in software engineering. During that time, I discovered my passion for photography.

Around the same time, I grew an affinity for traveling which complemented my growing interest in photography. Whether it is enjoying the coastline back in Orange Country, road tripping up to the Eastern Sierras just for the weekend, or exploring the beautiful places across the world, I enjoy capturing those fleeting moments and more importantly, sharing my content to inspire others to see the true beauty in this world we are so fortunate to live in.

Since then, I have continued to challenge myself to reach out of my comfort zone to grow not only as a creative but also build a business around my passion for photography. Through my passion to create incredible content, I have worked with world class hotels, brands and companies that share the very same creative vision.
