Bio

The Jesselton Girl is a blog about beauty, health, and
lifestyle written by Dayve Rampas who is a certified
professional make-up artist, Accountant in a private
company, self-taught photographer, Asian drama junkie, and
Korean beauty fanatic. She’s an advocate to Korean
skincare routine after watching a famous Korean drama -
Winter Sonata. She’s currently doing her Ph.D in Business
Administration focusing her studies on Digital Marketing in
Malaysia. As a mom of 2 kids, and a wife to a Graphic
Designer, she loves to live with a healthy lifestyle, goes to
the gym thrice a week, and follows the 80/20 rule.

Dayve has been blogging since 1998 but later decided to
share her personal experience with products/services after
her Korean sister-in-law suggested her to do so. She’s the
only active skincare and beauty blogger based in Kota
Kinabalu, Sabah, East Malaysia. The Jesselton Girl is named
after the previous name of Kota Kinabalu, which was
formerly known as ‘Jessel Town’ (later changed to
‘Jesselton’).

Dayve will have vlogs posted on her Youtube channel in
2017. The vlogs will focus on make-up tutorials, and reviews
in local Sabahan dialect in order to reach targeted audiences
who are English illiterate.
