I'm a pixie, a brewer of wines and meads, an author, herbalist, and educator. I ferment things, make medicines, and talk to plants. Keep Asheville Weird!

Most of the time, I'm hustling with a day job and my baby, but for over ten years, I've been building my site, Pixie's Pocket. As an herbalist and author, I enjoy sharing recipes for fermented foods and drinks, including specializing in one-gallon batches of wine, mead, cider, and beer. My evergreen posts are mostly about making cordials and homebrews, but the herbalism and foraging features are also popular.
