What it's about:
NYC Affirmative Psychotherapy is a New York City-based community-focused sliding scale psychotherapy practice for queer-identified people of color.
"We instead recognize the innate strengths that continue to allow people to function while enduring difficult life circumstances. Challenging childhoods and distressing adult experiences, coupled with the toxic impact of systemic oppression, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism and xenophobia impact our mental health. Our goal is to fill a gap in mental health services provided to those that are historically marginalized and disenfranchised; we are especially committed to serving queer communities of color. We also strive to be culturally aware and trauma-informed. And, most importantly, we’re here to help you feel better and make a change."
Aim of the campaign:
The goal of this campaign is to find influencers willing to collaborate with and build a long term relationship with NYC Affirmative for the purpose of content creation and promoting to the LGBT community, most specifically queer POC. The ongoing collaboration should build brand authority while also yielding conversion (increased interest and new clients for the practice).

What type of influencer?
Ideally queer people of color, especially people who self-describe as activists and understand the necessity of destigmatizing mental health issues for this population. If you are a blogger or work in the media that is a major plus. You MUST reside in the Greater New York City area.
What will the influencer be required to do?
To agree to work with NYC Affirmative Psychotherapy for an extended period of time and assist with original content creation, community events, and activism on behalf of the community. If you have been seeking a way to be more purpose-forward as an influencer this is an AMAZING opportunity for you!
How many posts are required?
You will become an ambassador and therefore you will be collaborating with the practice for an extended period of time. Ideally one to three posts monthly on Instagram or one video on YouTube monthly.
What social media channels should they be on?
Instagram and/or Youtube
Look and style of content?
We are seeking a mix of motivational, educational, and promotional. You want to engage the audience and pull them in with a level of vulnerability while also providing a specific education on issues relative to the community and how the therapists at NYC Affirmative are equipped with the tools and resources to support.
Compensation Detail:
Negotiable but preference will be given to influencers willing to support on a complimentary basis given the sensitivity of the campaign
